LEVITTOWN --- The North Penn Knights won five of the first six matches Wednesday night and never trailed the Truman Tigers, defeating their SOL National Conference rival, 44-28. The Knights won eight matches, and received bonus points in every victory.

Six North Penn wrestlers had pins: Tyler Smith (215), Tony Lozzi (285), Tommy Prykowski (119), Mike Incollingo (125), Dominic Colangelo (145) and Will Bachert (160).

In the featured match of the evening, North Penn's Matt Prestifilippo won by major decision over James Bak, 13-4. Prestifilippo had three takedowns and two sets of back points against Bak. Both wrestlers were regional qualifiers last season.

The Knights (12-10, 2-3 SOL National) wrestle Pennsbury at home Saturday. JV begins at 3pm, with varsity to follow.
