Pennsbury Pins Way Past Knights, 46-28

TOWAMENCIN – The Pennsbury Falcons had five pins en route to a 46-28 win over the North Penn Knights Saturday afternoon. The Falcons won nine of 14 bouts in the match, including Josh Dziewa’s pin of Caleb Hill in 1:56 at 135 pounds. Four of North Penn’s five wins came by pin, including Mike Incollingo (125), Dominic Colangelo (145), Mark Carovillano (152) and Tony Lozzi (285).

North Penn had a 12-10 lead after Carovillano’s pin, but a forfeit to Ed Shupe at 160, followed by three straight pins by Falcons Rich Applegate (171), Joe Valenzo (189), Joe Erb (215) gave Pennsbury a commanding lead in the match.

North Penn (12-11, 2-4 SOL National) will wrap up the regular season Wednesday night, as they will host Bensalem at 7pm.
