North Penn Sends Four to Districts
RED HILL – The North Penn Knights placed four wrestlers on the medal stand at Upper Perkiomen High School Saturday, as Tyler Romano (112 pounds), Bobby Ashton(135), Dominic Colangelo (145) and Randy Haun (152) each advanced to the District One North tournament. Randy Haun took home the silver medal, Tyler Romano captured third and Bobby Ashton and Dominic Colangelo placed fouth.
North Penn finished 9th out of 10 teams, with 47.5 points. Quakertown won the team title by 69 points over second place Central Bucks West. Central Bucks East's Jon Brodzik (135) was named the tournament's Outstanding Wrestler.
The District One North tournament will be held at Quakertown next Saturday.
