The Hatters Top the Knights, 46-25

TOWAMENCIN – The Hatboro Horsham Hatters defeated the North Penn Knights, 46-25, in SOL Continental wrestling action Wednesday night. Hatboro Horsham (2-0, 2-0) gave up one forfeit but won 9 of the 13 matches wrestled to defeat the Knights (1-1, 1-2). Drew Daubert (140) started the scoring for the Knights, winning a tough decision 8-7. Team captain Will Bachert (171) and Zach Maybin (285) were the next Knights to score, both with second period pins. Joey O'Brien followed with a forfeit at 103 bringing the team score to 28-21 in favor of the Hatters. But Hatboro Horsham pulled away winning 3 of the final 4 bouts by fall, with only Evan Conti (125) winning for the Knights by major decision.
