Panthers Stomp Knights, 53-13

QUAKERTOWN – The Quakertown Panthers defeated the North Penn Knights, 53-13, in SOL Continental wrestling action Wednesday night. North Penn (2-3, 3-4) started strong and looked like they could really compete with Quakertown (5-0, 7-3). With Greg Lacoff (125) starting off with a 5-3 decision, Drew Daubert (135) earning a major decision and Mike Robinson (145) getting a pin, North Penn was winning 13-12 after the first five matches. But that would be all the wins the Knights would get as Quakertown matched some of North Penn's best wrestlers and won the final nine bouts of the contest.
