North Penn Sends Five to Districts
RED HILL – The North Penn Knights placed five wrestlers on the medal stand at Upper Perkiomen High School Saturday, as Tyler Romano (125 pounds), Drew Daubert (135), Randy Haun (152), Dominic Colangelo (160) and Will Bachert (171) each advanced to the District One North tournament. Will Bachert was the only North Penn champion, Randy Haun and Dominic Colangelo each took home the silver medal, Tyler Romano captured third and Drew Daubert placed fouth.
North Penn finished 6th out of 10 teams, with 82.5 points. Quakertown won the team title with 191.5 points. Souderton's
Joe Stolfi (215) was named the tournament's Outstanding Wrestler.
The District One North tournament will be held at Quakertown next Friday and Saturday.
